Senior Business Operations Manager
Javad started his culinary career as a cheese and beer salesperson in his native Winston Salem, North Carolina. Intrigued by the blending of highbrow and lowbrow, Javad transitioned to back-of-the-house restaurant operations, working in chef-driven, comfort food eateries in NC and San Francisco. The elevation of simple ingredients, and the role that family and culture play in developing cuisine naturally brought him to Wise Sons’ steps in 2016, where he currently manages Business Operations. When not thinking about pastrami, Javad spends his time with his wife talking about pastrami and how cute their two cats are.
