Director of Operations

Erik grew up on his parents' micro-farm. Cooking with home-grown ingredients set the start of his career. He began washing dishes at the local Italian restaurant in Chicago and continued to work in restaurants through his time at Kendall College where he earned his BS in Culinary Science and Hospitality Business. Since then, he has worked in France and Australia working at Michelin-Starred restaurants and then joined Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises for 12+ years in multiple roles in Operations, Culinary, and Finance. In 2003 he relocated to the Bay Area with his wife, where he became the Director of Operations for Kara's/Bar Lucia, and in August 2021, he joined Wise Sons as Director of Operations.
